Fateh S. Chohan, B.Sc., B.E.(hons), M.Sc (eng.)., P.Eng

V.P Financing Services

Mr. Chohan is responsible for the Financing activities at BPF Solutions. He has undergraduate degrees in science and in engineering as well as a master’s degree in Engineering specializing in telecommunications. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario, Canada and a diplomate of the McGill University’s Executive Development and Advanced Management Programs. He is also a Public Speaker and Technology Commercialization and Project management & Funding specialist.

For 8 years (1992-2000), as the CEO of Techtran Corporation of which he was a founding member, Mr. Chohan pioneered an unique process of commercializing early stage breakthrough technologies with velocity and efficiency. By using this process, he achieved a success rate of over 80% where an industry average of 30% is considered superior. Mr. Chohan has supervised the evaluation of technologies in Communication, Computers, Environmental Technologies, Health, New Materials and Polymers.
After leaving Techtran in the year 2000, Mr. Chohan has devoted his efforts towards developing creative funding methods for major projects ($50M+). He has been able to secure International funding sources and has developed unique methods to finance projects, normally not known or used in North American mainstream businesses (except in some sectors of financial industry). These methods are more reliable, easy to implement and produce better terms for the project.

Since 2005, at the request of some fellow business people and community members, Mr Chohan has agreed to consult some small businesses in structuring their projects and helping them secure funding.

Other than work at BPF Solutions, Mr. Chohan is an Art Of Living teacher.

Anup Surendran , B.E (Hons) Computer and Electrical Engg.

Professional Services & Marketing

Mr. Surendran is responsible for evaluating technology companies for funding. He also oversees that the services offered by BPF are delivered on time and on budget keeping the best possible client experience in mind. His other responsibility is to market the services offered at BPF to a targeted audience (the Toronto Business community).

Mr. Surendran has over 10 years of experience providing Professional Services to major Investment banks and Insurance companies like Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, AIG and Fairfax Financials. He has worked with Canadian Pacific Railways and Dominion Resources on their enterprise wide risk management implementation.

He been involved in startup companies for most of his career and he is currently involved with http://www.Paper.io – an aggregator for busy people. He blogs quite frequently at http://www.AnupSurendran.com.

Vicky Y.H. Sato  B.Sc. (Hons), LLQP

Director, Mortgage Administration

Ms. Sato heads the mortgage department at BPF.  Her extensive background knowledge in sales and marketing enables her to help customers achieve their goals of obtaining mortgages for various purposes.  She also oversees the activities of other affiliated mortgage agents through BPF.  She provides necessary information and support for the agents.

Ms. Vicky joined BPF Solutions 2 years ago in 2007.  She holds Honours in B.Sc. from University of Toronto.  She held positions as an area retail manager at Hallmark over 13 years, then as BMS manager at the Brick before joining BPF.
